what should I buy to get started on making my own hip hop instrumentals?
I make hip hop music, I’m at a point where I believe my musical capability could go further than what it is now, however I’m only a lyricist, in a place where there’s not an instrumentalist within 2 hours. I’d like to know how to get started making my own instrumentals so i don’t have to mix-tape illegally anymore.
Endless possibilities with music production. Personally I would just start with computer based production. You can find a ton of different programs for Making Beats Online. I know a lot of people that use acid pro for building tracks from scratch ( http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/acidpro ). Personally doing remixes and mash-up i use audiomulch and adobe audition just sampling other peoples work and making it something different.
